How to find the Samsung IMEI
Dial *#06# on the phone or open the About section in device settings. The retail box, invoice or original account records may also show the IMEI. Dual-SIM models can have two identifiers.
What the IMEI Alert result means
IMEI Alert displays a public device result only when a case meets the platform’s finalized public-visibility rules. A missing result does not guarantee that the device is free from every operator, finance, insurance or country-specific restriction.
Check ownership and account locks
Ask the seller for authentic proof of purchase and verify that the previous owner has removed the relevant Samsung account, activation lock or device-protection feature before payment.
Inspect the phone physically
Test all SIM slots, calls, mobile data, Wi-Fi, charging, battery, cameras, speakers, display, biometrics and reset protection. Compare the IMEI and serial number across all available records.
Report a Samsung phone
If the phone is already lost or stolen, submit one emergency report. Documents are optional at the first step and can be requested later.
