Use the phone dialer
Open the dialer and enter *#06#. Many devices display the IMEI immediately. Do not post a screenshot containing the complete number publicly.
Find IMEI on Android
Open Settings, then About phone or About device. Depending on the brand, open Status, IMEI information, or SIM status.
Find IMEI on iPhone
Open Settings, General, About, then scroll to IMEI. The identifier may also be available through the owner’s Apple account or original packaging.
If the phone is already missing
Check the original retail box, purchase invoice, operator records, insurance documents, Apple account, Google account, or previous device registration records.
