Use the official Apple or Google device service, change exposed passwords, revoke payment access, and notify financial providers when necessary.
Report the SIM and device
Contact the operator to suspend the SIM and ask about the authorized IMEI restriction procedure available in the relevant country.
Preserve evidence
Keep invoices, box labels, previous photographs, serial number, IMEI, communications, CCTV references and the police report number.
